Children's programs


Toddler Time will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday and Wednesday. This program is designed for children under 3.
Family Activity Nights will be held at 18:00 on Tuesday as follows: Smile (3 February), Aurora Therapy Dog (10 February), the Elegant Elephant (17 February) and the Noble Pig (24 February).
Children can read with a certified therapy dog at 06:30 on February 10.
Story Time, which is geared for preschoolers, will be held as follows: Smile (3 to 4 February), dental celebration with Dr. Estalla A. Pizana of Dental Park (7 February), Be My Valentine (February 10, 11 and 14), Elegant Elephant (February 17, 18 and 21) and the noble pig (February 24, 25 and 28). Story time is at 10:00 pm Saturday
Milwaukee Bucks "Read to Achieve" reading challenge runs through February and is intended for students in third through eighth grade. Read to get a voucher for a free game Bucks tickets.
The film "Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Day" will be shown at 12:30 on 21 February.
Elephant and Piggie Readathon, which is for children up to grade two, runs through March 7 with a wrap-up party at 10 am on March 7.
Investment Screening Early Development will be held from 9 am until noon and then 3-7 pm on March 4 of this event for children aged 2 months to 4 years.

youth programs

Teen Chocolatefest Party will be held at 12:30 am on February 14. The event includes stacking contest chocolate, chocolate pudding eating contest, relay candy and much more.
Teen Advisory Board will meet at 4:30 pm Monday at Franklin Street Room to make Valentine or anti-Valentine and to help plan Teen Chocolatefest party on February 14th.
Receive homework help from 3-6 pm every Tuesday and Wednesday at the Teen Scene area.

The film "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be shown at 17:30 on 25 February.

adult programs

Receive assistance with BadgerCare Plus and other types of health insurance on February 3, 1-7 pm and 1-5 pm on February 10 at Franklin Street Room.
2015 Decision of the series starts this month. Topics in February are: Russia and the Near Abroad (2 February), Privacy in the Digital Age (9 February), US Policy Towards Africa (February 16) and Sectarianism in the Middle East (23 February). The program will be held from 6-8 pm in the Community Room Balkansky.
Decrease with your gadgets at the service desk and receive one-on-one assistance technology 6-8pm every Tuesday.
There will be Overdrive Computer class at 6 pm on February 10, and again at 10:00 on February 18 and at noon on Feb. 27 in the Board Room.
There will be a series of multicultural events on Sundays in February and March in Balkansky Community Room. February events will be held as follows: Bilingual Story Time, 14:30 on February 8; performance by Silver Lake College Department of Music, 13:30 on 15 February; and Flamenco Dancing, 02:30 on February 22. The film "Edge of Tomorrow" will be shown at 6:00 on February 3 in Balkansky Community Room.
The Brown Bag Seminar "Mini not only for children," by Kay Felde, will be held at 12:15 pm on February 11 in the Balkansky Community Room. Join Felde to peek into the room his miniature creations.
Professor Steve Ackerman will discuss the weather and climate change in the Great Lakes region 6-7 pm on Feb. 25 at the Franklin Street Room.
There will be a discussion about the book "Lives of Girls and Women," by Alice Munro, at 6 pm on February 17 in the Board Room.
A Beginning Genealogy workshop will be held at 11:00 pm on February 17 in the Balkansky Community Room.
