1. Serena Williams lifted the Australian Open Women's Singles
He beat the world number two Maria Sharapova,, 16 times in a row since 2004.
Serena Williams beat Maria Sharapova in the final by 6-3, 6-7 to win the Australian Open Women's Singles title for the sixth time.
He became the second oldest woman to win a Grand Slam singles title after Martina Navratilova won Wimbledon in 1990 ago.
With this victory, Serena Williams won 19 Grand Slam titles in his career.

2. The Central Bank of India opens first forex hub in Gujarat in Vadodara

7. ICICI Bank account holders can use Twitter to transfer funds
Now customers of ICICI Bank can use Twitter account to transfer their funds.

9. India successfully test-fired a missile Agni-5
India today successfully test-fired Agni-5 missile from Wheeler Island off the coast of Odisha.
It is about 17 meters long, 2 meters wide and has a launch weight of about 50 tons. Missile can carry a nuclear warhead more than one ton.
Agni-5 is an intercontinental missile surface-to-surface nuclear capable ballistic attack has a range of over 5,000 miles.
